How Blanote Began
Blanote was born in 2018 from a small Dublin studio, a sketchbook full of ideas, and a deep frustration with interior design that felt inaccessible. Our founder, Aoife Brennan, had spent years working in high-end residential design — and kept hearing the same thing from clients: "I wish I'd known this sooner."
So she built something different. A place where expert design advice, beautiful curated pieces, and hands-on coaching could live together — and where anyone, regardless of budget or experience, could create a home they're proud of.
Today, Blanote works with clients across Ireland and beyond, offering everything from a single discovery call to full-room transformations. The studio has grown, but the mission hasn't changed: make great design feel possible for everyone.

With 12 years in residential and commercial design, Aoife brings a rare combination of technical precision and warm, liveable style. She leads all coaching sessions and course content.

Niamh has an extraordinary eye for texture, colour, and the small details that make a room feel complete. She curates the Blanote shop and leads our styling workshops.
